We embarked on a comprehensive study to identify deficiencies and propose improvements aimed at bolstering safety, operational efficiency, and ADA accessibility. Through collaboration with stakeholders and rigorous analysis, we devised solutions tailored to the town's needs. Through our collaboration with the Town of Hazelhurst, we have successfully transformed their town hall facility, ensuring it not only meets but exceeds the needs of the community, fostering a safe, efficient, and inclusive environment for all residents.
Project Features:
Facility Study and Analysis: Conducted a thorough examination of the existing town hall facility, engaging stakeholders to pinpoint deficiencies and establish improvement priorities.
Feasibility Study: Developed an opinion of construction cost, comparing renovation expenses with the construction of a new town hall facility to inform decision-making.
Conceptual Layout Planning: Created conceptual layout plans illustrating space needs, site conditions, and department objectives for both the existing facility and a potential new facility.
Repurposing Existing Building: Assisted in the selection and purchase of an existing building to repurpose into the Hazelhurst Town Hall/Community Center, providing building design and construction oversight services.
Redesigned Interior and New Front Entry: Redesigned the interior of the 7,842 square foot retail building to align with the town's program requirements, while also designing a new front entry/canopy addition to enhance accessibility and functionality.
