As the designated architecture firm, we oversaw the entire process of designing, bidding, and constructing a new 9,220 square foot vehicle storage addition to the existing Department of Public Works facility. Our team orchestrated the integration of various structural elements, including exterior metal roof and wall panels, interior CMU wall systems, and concrete floors, ensuring both durability and functionality. The facility boasts a state-of-the-art PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) structural steel rigid frame system, incorporating roof beams, purlins, and frame components, along with a robust metal roofing system. Within the facility, two heated vehicle storage garage bays were included, alongside a separate entry, crew room, toilet and changing room, office, training/breakroom, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and storage mezzanine, vehicle wash bay, workshop, and brine system mezzanine. Melody's expertise ensured that every aspect of the project was meticulously planned and executed to meet the Department of Public Works' needs while adhering to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
